When Chronic Pain Starts Running Your Life
Chronic pain is more than just a physical sensation; it impacts your work, your relationships, and your future. It can feel like a heavy burden that limits your potential and isolates you from the activities you love.
We understand the frustration of trying multiple treatments, medications, injections, surgeries, without lasting results. The cycle of pain can lead to fear of movement, loss of confidence, and a sense of hopelessness.
We are here to help you navigate the path back to a fulfilling life. Our program is designed to empower you with the tools to manage your symptoms effectively, moving beyond the limitations of pain and toward a future defined by what you can do, not what you can't.
We treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. Our multidisciplinary
team works together to support every aspect of your recovery.
Expert-led sessions focused on functional movement, strength, and daily living activities modified for your comfort..
Specialized care to address the mental and emotional toll of chronic pain, building resilience and coping skills.
Regular team syncs to ensure all therapists are aligned on your specific goals and progress.
Your care begins with a detailed assessment of your pain, function, health history, and the barriers that may be keeping you stuck. This helps our team understand the full picture and identify the right next steps.
Once we understand your needs, we create a care plan tailored to your goals. Your program is designed around function, resilience, and practical strategies you can use in real life.
This program is about more than talking about pain. It is about learning how to respond differently to it. You will build tools for movement, pacing, coping, body awareness, and daily routines that support long-term progress.
For many people, success means returning to important routines, meaningful activity, and work-related goals with more confidence and less fear. When appropriate, we support that transition with coordinated, function-focused care.

Beyond exercises, we teach neurological regulation techniques to calm the nervous system and shift the perception of pain.

Guidance on nutrition, sleep hygiene, and activity pacing to sustain long-term improvements.

Convivio Health’s Lynnwood Pain Management program is a structured, interdisciplinary approach for people living with persistent pain. Through our SIMP Program, we help patients improve function, build confidence, and develop practical strategies for daily life.
SIMP stands for Structured Intensive Multidisciplinary Program. It is a evidence-based approach to chronic pain that combines physical, psychological, and vocational rehabilitation in one integrated setting.
This program may be a good fit for people whose pain has lasted for months, continues to interfere with daily life, and has not improved enough with more traditional treatment. It may also be appropriate for injured workers who need help rebuilding function and confidence.
Yes. Our program can support injured workers and others dealing with persistent pain after a work-related injury. When appropriate, care may include function-focused rehabilitation and return-to-work planning.
The goal is not to promise a cure. The goal is to help you manage pain more effectively, improve function, build coping skills, and return to more normal daily activity with greater confidence.
Depending on your needs, care may include physical rehabilitation, occupational therapy, mind-body strategies, emotional support, relaxation techniques, pacing, lifestyle education, and return-to-work support.
Yes. Chronic pain affects more than the body. Emotional support, coping strategies, and resilience-building are important parts of helping people move forward.
It can support that goal when appropriate. For people dealing with a work injury or function-related limitations, the program may include return-to-work planning and support for rebuilding capacity and confidence.
The active phase runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for four weeks. Some patients may also participate in a four-week follow-up phase with group sessions two days per week for three hours per day.
That depends on your situation and coverage. For L&I-related participation, referral and prior authorization requirements may apply. The best next step is to contact Convivio Health so our team can guide you.
