Our clinic is a place where healing meets hope—where injured workers, those recovering from brain injuries, and individuals living with chronic pain find personalized, compassionate care that gets them back to work, back to their families, and back to themselves.
Our expert, interdisciplinary team surrounds every patient with the tools, support, and encouragement they need to thrive again, not just survive.
Convivio Health (formerly Northwest Return to Work) began with a simple idea: to treat people the way they deserve to be treated—like whole humans with potential, not just cases with injuries. Our founder, Josh Cobbley, discovered his passion for occupational rehabilitation while on a clinical rotation in Illinois. It was a calling that felt like home, inspired by his early experiences with blue-collar workers—people like his father—who gave their all every day and deserved a chance to recover with dignity.
After relocating to the Pacific Northwest and working for a major national rehab provider, Josh saw an opportunity to do something different. Something better. When that provider changed direction, he and a small group of vision-aligned partners opened a modest 1,000-square-foot facility in Lynnwood, Washington. It was 2007, and that small space was filled with energy, purpose, and big dreams.
Word spread quickly. Patients came not just for the therapy, but for the respect, the attention, and the relentless belief that they could get better. We grew—expanding services, square footage, and most importantly, our impact. From a handful of patients, we’ve grown into a comprehensive industrial rehabilitation clinic serving injured workers across Washington state.
Through it all, we stayed true to our roots. Whether it's through our structured brain injury rehabilitation programs, our interdisciplinary chronic pain management services, or our dynamic work hardening and conditioning tracks—every step we take is guided by empathy, excellence, and outcomes.
To restore lives through evidence-based, integrated rehabilitation programs that empower injured workers to reclaim their health, independence, and future.
To be the Pacific Northwest’s leading provider of industrial rehabilitation by redefining what’s possible in recovery—one life, one job, one story at a time.
