Accredited Evidence-Based Rehabilitation

Appropriate for Complex and Non-Progressing Cases

Designed specifically for Workers' Compensation patients who have plateaued under standard outpatient care.

We specialize in those "stuck" claims where progress has stalled due to the interconnected nature of brain injury, physical limitations, and psychological barriers.

Stalled recovery trajectory

Multi-modal cognitive impairment

Clinical Strategy

Moving beyond "symptom management" to intensive functional restoration.

Standard therapies often treat symptoms in isolation. Our BIRP model integrates physical therapy, speech, and neuropsychology into a single, cohesive daily schedule that mirrors the demands of a working day.

This coordinated structure helps patients practice real-world cognitive, communication, and physical demands together, building the endurance, confidence, and functional skills needed for a safer return to work.

When to Consider Referral

Data shows that early referral improves outcomes and reduces the total cost of claim. If a worker is not meeting milestones as expected, an intensive interdisciplinary intervention is clinically indicated.

Claim Velocity

Reducing prolonged disability through rapid functional gain.

Evidence Based

Protocols aligned with L&I clinical guidelines for head injuries.

Program Overview

A comprehensive immersion into restorative care, designed to rebuild the patient's

capacity for life and work.

The 40-Day Protocol

Our signature program runs Monday through Friday, 6 hours per day. This "full-workday" approach helps assess and build cognitive endurance in a controlled environment.

40

Consecutive Days

240+

Clinical Hours

Our state-of-the-art facility in Lynnwood is designed for patient comfort and maximum therapeutic efficiency.

Clinical & Claim Impact

We focus relentlessly on functional outcomes. By the end of the 40 days, claim managers receive a comprehensive closing report detailing exactly what the worker can and cannot, safely do in a vocational setting.

  • Objective baseline and exit testing

  • Clarification of permanent restrictions

Care Coordination

Collaborative communication is the backbone of our program. We provide bi-weekly updates to VRCs and Clam managers, ensuring there are no "surprises" at the end of the program.

  • Direct access to clinical leads

  • Timely, detailed medical documentation

Serving Patients Across Washington

Located centrally in Lynnwood, we serve the entire Puget Sound region and beyond. For workers residing outside of reasonable commuting distance, we coordinate lodging and travel to ensure the BIRP is accessible to every eligible L&I claimant in the state.
